HCAA
Hastings Catholic Schools Activity Association
HCAA is an organization that promotes the Catholic Community's involvement in raising funds for Hastings Catholic Schools.
The funds raised by HCAA have helped cover the expenses of:
- Dance Team
- State Quiz Bowl
- Purchasing Music for Chorus and Band
- Spring Play Production
- Christmas Program
- Uniforms and Transportation for Sports Teams
- And much, much more!
Chicken Noodle Dinner
The biggest fundraiser that the HCAA sponsors is the Annual Chicken Noodle Dinner held at the end of November in the gymnasiums and cafeteria on the grounds of St. Cecilia's Middle/High School.
This event is a prime example of how HCAA promotes Catholic Community involvement. It takes volunteers from the Hastings Catholic School System, from St. Michael's and St. Cecilia's Churches, and countless other volunteers to make this event such a successful one.
Bringing the school, parishes, and community together is one of the main focuses of the HCAA organization. Many volunteers are needed to set up, supply, and run the event.
How can you get involved?
Parent volunteers are welcome and needed for the HCAA to help raise funds for the various activities that take place at Hastings Catholic Schools.
Parents can help at the following:
- Chicken Noodle Dinner & Bazaar
- Concessions at Games
- Helping at the Rodeo
- Working at the Fairgrounds
- Serving as a Board member (2-year term)
- Plus other fundraising activities!

All interested parents (Grades K-12) and Alumni are allowed and encouraged to participate in this organization as a sub-committee board chairman and/or officer. The HCAA Board meets the third Wednesday of every month.
